Screw what I weigh!

No stay with me, I promise.

I know that this is r/loseit, but I think that you can all appreciate any attempt at health.

I have a very rocky and troublesome experience with scales. I really do. I have binged and purged, I have been in the gym 2-3 times A DAY at a ~700-900 calorie deficit. I have done this wrong so many times before. And for so long I have been devastated that my weight has not decreased, I mean not a pound. I've (23-f) spent months at 262lbs. But I have gone from a 20-14 dress size.

I'M A LARGE YOU GUYS. I'm a college student and the free T-shirts run amok, and I can easily just grab myself a Large, no questions asked, no worries. Old sorority shirts? they fit again! Cut jeans, they look great now too.

My squat, deadlift, and bench have all gone up. My endurance has gone through the roof. I'm training for a 5k. I take my dog out for hour long meanderings. I limit serving size, increase vegetables, and try to take in less on a daily basis.

So I'm still heavy. But to look at me, You can SEE a difference. Maybe I will be brave enough to post a before and after soon, but for now, just know that however you move towards health, is valid.
