Best way to approach losing 5 pounds a month.

I (F23) know that might not seem like a lot but when I do diets and workouts to quickly lose weight, I have a hard time sticking to it. I think a goal of 5 pounds a month is realistic that I could stick to by implementing small life changes instead of a complete life change. I’m 5,3 and 155 pounds so if I lose 5 pounds a month I’ll be around the weight I want by Valentine’s Day. I would like some advice on how to curb cravings and how to get into easy workouts ( I have asthma and injured knees). My main problem is emotional eating, I gained all the extra weight following my dads death but now that I’m more mentally healthy I’m trying to undo the damage I did to my body.
