Trying to Get Back in To Shape pls help

Ok so I'm really trying to get back in to shape, especially before snowboard season starts. I've put on about 15 lbs of weight this year and I'm just looking to change my habits around eating and working out to try tone up and shed a little bit of weight. My biggest problem is time management, and I 100% recognize that. I work full time, am taking 4 classes, and also trying (and failing) to maintain a social life. I'm really just looking for some guidance as far as building good nutritional habits (I'm a vegetarian, btw) and any suggestions for workouts that target the thighs/glutes area specifically.
