Choosing the lesser of two evils!

Yesterday evening we had a childhood friend over and had decided we were going to order take-out. I was starving and I had reserved around 800 cals for it. Nandos was the popular choice for us but it closed as we were ordering so I was stuck.

Half of us were about to order chinese, my favourite take out place. I started recommending things, taking people's order, already imagining the delicious taste of the huge portion of Malaysian Curry with rice but as I was at the checkout I doubled back; why though? It'll taste great, but I will definitely be full halfway through. Then I'll feel really bad not finishing it or feel bad about eating later and definitely go over my calorie deficit goals. I'm 5.5kg into my weightloss goal in only 3 weeks. So I noticed my girlfriend was ordering McDonald's. Quickly deleted my chinese, ordered five Chicken Strips/Selects for 599 cals with a sour cream dip for 150 cals and even though it was just like a snack, it was all I needed and tasted great (my guilty pleasure). The Chinese place could have been anywhere from 1000 to 2000 cals, will never know!
