For some reason, I always get a drive to lose weight right around some major holiday or birthday. I started tracking my calories a little over a week ago and I've actually lost some decent weight (water weight for sure, but still exciting) - but my birthday was 2 days ago and all of my friends want to go out.
I spent Thursday eating whatever I wanted and probably went way overboard, but I don't feel guilty because it was my birthday. Now it's the weekend and people want to go out so it looks like it's going to be another weekend of overindulging.
How do you not go overboard or feel guilty during these times? I keep reminding myself that I've been doing amazing and I'm not ruining all my progress over 2 or 3 days of enjoying myself - but historically, this always throws me off track.
