I know how you feel right now. You can’t stick to your diet, exercise makes you tired and sweaty and worn out and you just want to quit. Sitting at home? Skipped the gym today? Ordered that good you were going to have for your treat meal a little early? It’s all good, don’t beat yourself up, give yourself some grace. The most important thing is getting back on track, not fixating on how much or how long you screwed up.
When I first lurked in lose it, I was over 400lbs, I got all the way down to 228 and I’m currently bulking before cutting for summer. I went from getting winded walking up the stairs to hack squatting over 600lbs. I was the laziest, most unmotivated, self loathing person out there. But, I came up with a simple gauge for my actions “tomorrow will I like this choice? Or will I regret it?” It isn’t that you can’t eat pizza/burgers/fries, you are just choosing not to right now. Stay on track, another good practice.
Struggling to get into the gym? Want to skip leg day? No problem, simply dress into your gym clothes, go to the gym, walk into the building. If you still feel like going home, go home! You need the rest. If not, get to work!
If nothing else, know some random idiot on the internet is rooting for you!
