Feeling pretty good

So last night I was late back. starting to get darker, starving hungry and it scheduled to do my third C25K for the week. Last chance this week due to commitments.

Solution, put some baked potatoes on, put aside the hunger, and did my run, came back and ate. Sitting there feeling pretty pleased I realised my steps were still way off for the day, and thought, it’s a nice evening, why not have a walk? Grabbed a head flashlight that I once bought in a failed attempt to cycle part of my route to work a year ago, and off I went, 3500 extra steps done after a quick walk to the village and I was super happy.

This morning I come into work, as I passed the main canteen and the full fried breakfasts on display, which I always did on Friday, and past the pastries, the cake, the crisps and got myself a black coffee and a banana, I recall complaining once that fridays were a pain, as breakfast was so filling I was still full when it got to lunch, which is always fish and chips (fries) on Friday and an absolute must do for me - I even used to book a catch up meeting at 12 with someone, so we could have lunch.

I’m going to have a baked potato instead, with some salad, as I have been doing for the last couple of months, and it feels pretty good.
