I run 3-4 times a week but I have control issues with food.

I'm a 30M,5'7.75",167 lbs. My weight fluctuates throughout the years from 145 lbs. to 170 lbs. There are times that I kept it to below 150 lbs. because I'm run 3-4 times a week and I watch what I eat. Due to work reasons last December 2017,I gained the weight that I am carrying now and I tried losing it with running since April 2018 but it seems like I can't lower it down again to 150. Broked down all the reasons why and I found out that I do have control issues when it comes to food. Can I still lose weight easily at my age given that I could watch what I eat? I have a 30K Trail Race in October and I wanted to be at 145 lbs. by then. I need some tips in my self-control hurdle. Thank you!
