Heyo, I just wanted to stop lurking to thank you guys. I am a 27 year old male, that is 6 ft. tall and weighed 200 pounds. On the 2nd of July I decided to tackle my weight and a friend recommended this sub. My strategy: Eat the same as before, but only between 8 am and 4 pm. I also track everything I eat with the Loseit! app and try to stay below 2200 kcal. I want to play the long game to turn thoughtful eating into a habit and not torture myself. I have become much more aware of what I consume and I do not eat impulsively anymore. It feels good to be in control and it actually saves me lots of money. ( I used to order pizza a lot )
I lost 12 pounds in the last month and I guess I'll have reached my weight-goal of 150 pounds in december.
I'll post again in December to get some advice on how to maintain my weight. Until then: Thank you so much for helping me do this!
