Hey cow I didn’t think I’d be here. I’ve been lurking here for a while, and started taking my journey seriously because of one of the “Starting your weight loss today” posts from here. I weighed 372 pounds on March 6th. At my heaviest I was at 398.
Standing at 6’4, I was a big man. How did I get there? Why did I let myself get to that? My wife and daughter deserved better and I am determined to be a healthier person.
I downloaded the lose it app, and bought a digital scale. I cut my calories to 1700-2000 cal a day, and that’s all. Is it really this simple? I still eat pizza and cheeseburgers, just not daily. I still drink soda, although diet and sparingly. I’m not quite ready for before and after pics, but I’ll post once I hit my next goal, 250.
