My dad is one of those people who constantly eats junk, but never gains any weight. My mom and I, however, can have one cheat meal and gain 2-3 lbs. Needless to say, despite appearances, I eat the most junk food when I eat with my dad. However, today, I didn't let his junk eating get to me.
He wanted to do a late lunch at a Chiness Buffet. This is hard (a) obviously bc its a buffet and (b) they dont have their nutrition info listed anywhere
However, I was able to guesstimate as I got my food using my calorie tracker. For starters, I got salt and pepper shrimp instead of stuffed shrimp. Mixed veggies instead of chicken and broccoli. One egg roll without sweet and sour sauce instead of 3 egg rolls. One small spoon 9f each instead of multiple. No fried rice and no chow main. And I didnt go back for seconds.
