My name is Robyn and I have been overweight my entire 29 years of life. In 5th grade, I weighed 150 pounds. By the time I was 15, I weighed 220 and went on Weight Watchers. At 16, I was 199. That’s the lowest that I remember in my teen/adult life.
When I got married in 2009, I weighed 215 on my wedding day. After that, I had a daughter in 2010 and then my son in 2012. When I had my son, I weighed 267. I injured my back giving birth to him, which still pains me to this day. I started dieting and trying to exercise and made it down to 219 before I took a desk job at an office with an abundance of food. Things haven’t been the same since.
In 2017, I weighed in at 307.5, the highest in my entire life. I started watching carbs and lost 30 pounds, then maintained for months without losing anything at all.
Recently, I’ve started to notice myself slipping back into old habits. I finally decided that it’s time to get back to this! Today, I logged every bit bite taste and lick into MFP and stayed within my calorie goal!
SW: 307.5 (Jan 2017), CW: 283 (gained a bit back since last year), GW: 150
