What consistency finally looks like

When you commit https://imgur.com/a/FTnC85N

About 450 days ago someone asked me what my goal weight was. I had no idea really, but I picked 160lb, 70lb less than my weight at that time. I honestly didn't have a goal, I just wanted to see what would happen if I didn't give up this time. I decided to keep going, no matter what. I didn't stress over vacations and holidays until I gave up entirely. I didn't "start over" on Monday after a fun weekend or birthday celebration. I kept going. I committed to working out 4 days a week and kept going. I learned to fuel my new strong body to reach new goals that have nothing to do with the scale. Today I've reached 160lb, and I'm still going.

That graph shows all the times I gave up for about 3.5 years, but it could easily go back 20 years of the same pattern.

I'm here to tell you, don't give up. There is no single meal or treat that can conquer you when you commit to yourself.

Make good choices the majority of the time, keep going. Eventually those choices become habits, keep going. Those habits become a lifestyle, keep going.
