Questions to those who are cutting

Not sure whether this is the right subreddit or not,

but I've been bulking for a few months now and am planning to cut soon, so I had a few questions for those who have been through a cut before:

  1. If I were, for example in a 500 calorie surplus and want to go to a 500 calorie deficit, would that mean I have to eat 1000 less calories? Is it healthy to do that? Going straight from a bulk to a cut, eating 1000 calories less in an instant

  2. So it's expected to gradually increase the weight in your workout program, like bench and squat and ofcourse the accessories, but should you still try to do that on a cut or just maintain? Also should you stick to the same program? I'm currently doing PPL

  3. How much can you lose a week with minimal muscle loss? I've you should try to lose around 0,5kg a week and others said 1% of your entire bodyweight. And what would be a sign of too much muscle loss, I assume a decline in your lifts
